- Leaked European pricing suggests higher costs than the Galaxy S24 series
- The leak also includes storage options and colors
- Elsewhere, Qualcomm has confirmed that Snapdragon chipsets will be used in these phones
Most rumors so far suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be at least slightly more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, and the latest price leak gives us a clearer idea of how much more European buyers could pay.
91Mobiles Indonesia (via Phone Arena) says it has received European retail pricing for the Galaxy S25 series. The Samsung Galaxy S25 itself should start at 964.90 euros, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus at 1,235.90 euros and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for 1,557.90 euros.
European prices listed here range from €60 to €105 more than the Samsung Galaxy S24 series costs, which is around $60 / £50 / AU$100 to $110 / £90 / AU175 depending on model and storage $ more equals capacity.
Of course, it's unlikely that price conversions are accurate, but if this leak is true, at least the Galaxy S25 series could cost a little more in Europe than previous models, and the likelihood that prices will rise elsewhere as well is high.
Colors and configurations
This leak also reveals configurations and colors, with the Samsung Galaxy S25 apparently available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions, the Galaxy S25 Plus in 256GB and 512GB versions and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in 256 configurations GB, 512GB and 1TB.
This is consistent with previous leaks, as are – broadly – the colors, which in the case of the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus include Silver, Navy Blue, Icy Blue and Mint, and in the case of the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Black and Titanium Gray should be included in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
However, there's no mention of the Titanium White Silver shade we talked about earlier, so it's possible that this won't be sold everywhere. Also unsurprisingly, there's no mention of various shades that we've heard could be exclusive to the Samsung Store.
Snapdragon confirmed
In better news, Qualcomm has confirmed that its chipsets will power at least some Samsung Galaxy S25 models by re-posting the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked announcement with a “See you there” announcement.
Since these are flagship phones, the only Qualcomm chipset they're eligible for is the Snapdragon 8 Elite. While this post doesn't guarantee that every S25 model in every region will use it, most leaks suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used globally.
We should definitely find out on January 22nd – and also receive confirmation of the prices, because that's when Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event takes place.
