After initially landing in China, the OnePlus 13 is now available worldwide, meaning you can buy it in many parts of the world.
The phone's highlights include a huge battery, a top-of-the-line chipset, and higher water resistance than most phones, but there's a lot more here too.
Below is everything you need to know about the OnePlus 13's price, specs and features. However, if you want to know what we think about the actual performance, be sure to read our full review of the OnePlus 13.
Let's get down to business
- What is that? The latest OnePlus flagship
- When does it appear? Available now
- How much does it cost? From $899.99 / £899 (approximately AU$1,450)
A price increase
- Available now
- From $899.99 / £899 (approximately AU$1,450)
The OnePlus 13 was unveiled at an event in China on October 31, followed by a global launch in early 2025, and is now available in the US, UK and other regions, but notably not Australia.
Pricing starts at $899.99 / £899 (around AU$1,450), which gets you a model with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. Prices rise to $999.99 / £999 for 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
That makes it slightly more expensive than the OnePlus 12, which started at $799.99 / £849.
However, at the time of writing, there is a special promotion that drops the price of the 16GB model by $100/£100, and you can also get a bonus of at least $100/£50 off when you trade in a device (if you buy the phone). directly from OnePlus). That could provide some relief for the standard prices.
A new design and more water resistance
- A new design in new colors
- The screen has an interesting refresh rate technology
- Both IP68 and IP69 certified
The OnePlus is available in Midnight Ocean (blue), Arctic Dawn (white) and Black Eclipse (black), although the blue model we tested has a “vegan microfiber” finish.
The design of the back is otherwise somewhat reminiscent of the OnePlus 12, although the circular camera block does not extend to the edge; instead, a silver or black line runs across the back.
The front of the phone has small curves on all four edges and a punch-hole camera at the top.
The OnePlus 13 also has both IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it more waterproof than most phones. Depending on which color you choose, it is either 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.9 mm and 213 g or 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm and 210 g.
That's because you're choosing more than just one color: some have a glass back and others have the aforementioned vegan microfiber.
The screen features a 6.82-inch 1440 x 3168 pixel AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness and can be used with gloves or in wet conditions.
It's a good screen too, and our review calls it “the best screen of any smartphone when it comes to color.”
The OnePlus 13's screen can also deliver different refresh rates in different sections, so for example static text could be 10Hz while a video playing elsewhere on the screen could be 120Hz. This is something we haven't seen on other Android phones, and it could result in longer battery life.
Finally, the phone has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display, which should work better than the optical one in its predecessor. In fact, our review of the OnePlus 13 says, “It was a joy, the most responsive I've ever used.”
A mix of old and new cameras
- It has the same main camera as the OnePlus 12
- It features two new 50MP snappers
Ahead of the launch, OnePlus itself confirmed that the OnePlus 13 features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 120-degree field of view, and a 50-megapixel telephoto snapper, complete with 3x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, optical image stabilization and a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
The company also said that the OnePlus 13 supports 4K and 60 frames per second video recording with Dolby Vision.
This definitely means that the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras are new, while the 50MP f/1.6 main camera and 32MP front camera are the same as last year.
In the camera examples below you can see what kind of photos they can take.
OnePlus 13 camera samples
Overall, we were impressed with the cameras. Our OnePlus 13 review concluded that these are “the best cameras for action photos, even at night, and all-around great images” and that “it does more with the 3x zoom than some phones can manage.” 10x zoom.”
A top-end chipset and a huge battery
- It features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset
- It has a huge 6,000mAh battery
One area where the OnePlus 13 is a big upgrade over its predecessor is the chipset, as it uses the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is rarely found in any phone to date.
There is also a choice of 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. There's an even higher quality 24GB/1TB model, but it's not available outside of China.
So there's plenty of power here, as our OnePlus 13 review called it “the fastest phone you can buy”, but the battery is even more exciting as it has a massive 6,000mAh capacity, making it the longest Battery life of all phones we tested.
The OnePlus 13 also has fast charging, with up to 100W wired and 50W wireless – although in the US, this wired speed requires a special charger, which OnePlus hasn't released yet. Until then, you're limited to a still-fast 80W.
Even though the OnePlus 13 doesn't include magnets, the company sells some special magnetic cases that you can attach MagSafe and Qi2 accessories to.
Finally, the OnePlus 13 runs Android 15 out of the box, layered with the company's OxygenOS 15. We found this to be a great-looking interface, but with less AI than you'll find in some phones.
